App: Proword for Android (dev.oleksi.proword)
Contact: support@oleksi.dev
This page explains how to delete your Proword account and the data associated with it. It applies to the Android version of Proword. You do not need to install or open the app to request deletion.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your Proword sign-in account — the Google account linked through Firebase Authentication, and its user ID.
- All words, translations, flashcards, practice progress, streaks, and game scores stored for your account.
- Your in-app preferences and onboarding answers.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What is kept, and for how long
Anonymized diagnostic and analytics records generated before deletion (crash reports, aggregate usage counts) may remain in Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics for their standard retention windows — up to 90 days for crash logs and up to 14 months for analytics. After your account is deleted these records can no longer be linked back to you.
If you have an active paid subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. Manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store → Subscriptions.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (immediate)
- Open Proword.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again to verify it is you.
Your account and its data are deleted right away.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email (no app required)
If you can no longer install or open the app, email us and we will delete your account for you:
- Send an email to support@oleksi.dev.
- Use the subject line Delete my Proword account.
- Send it from the email address of the Google account you used to sign in to Proword, so we can verify the request belongs to you.
We process email deletion requests within 30 days and email you a confirmation once it is done. There is no charge for account deletion.
